  Human Resource Development

RCSD lays a greater emphasis on strengthening the capacities of human society in achieving the goal of sustainability. With the said belief, RCSD desire to promote a multidisciplinary and cross-sectoral approach in training for strengthening of human capacities and dissemination of knowledge amongst local communities, NGOs, private and civic societies, regulatory bodies and utilities, through discreet events such as training, workshops, seminars, formal course and study tours. These events would include participation from across the region and organized at multiple sites thereby encouraging establishment of formal and informal networks.

A wide range of issues, such as household production systems, conservation and utilization of arable and non-arable land, treatment of drainage lines and recharging of groundwater, livestock management, fisheries, agroforestry and horticulture, integrated watershed development, water and sanitation services, solid and liquid waste management, energy technologies, etc. would be the arrears of prime focus.
